 We are having English reading comprehension classes for second grade and third grade in small groups with 4 to 6 children in each. Our focus is on building vocabulary, strengthening word knowledge, and practicing understanding through different sentences and stories. After each lesson, there will be tests designed to reinforce learning. The teacher for second graders is a student at UBC studying law, and the third-grade teacher graduated from a program in Arts and Literature in the UK. The class is the best for non-native English-speaking families.
